Greetings from the heat of the tour bus! Right now we're on the road from Rauma to Veteli to meet the rallyrally-spirited crowd (to quote one of the interviewers: "Laura digs fast cars and the rally spirit"). During the trip we've pondered on the following:
1. Why can't you order a portion called "hot bear" from Spice Ice kiosks? There's only "hot spring" and "active bear". After an uncompromising discussion "hot bear" was still not on the menu, so we decided on hurricanes... (translation note: the play on words in the ice cream portion names is unfortunately quite lost in translation...)
2. Because our band has a great responsibility on our collective shoulders and the weight is sometimes demanding, we've decided to divide areas of responsibility among the indicans. Sirkku "the standing leopard", or "Leo" among friends (pronounced lee-oh) is the band's new technology manager. History has once more repeated itself and Leo has taken all things technical in her gentle care... Go Herkku!
3. Now when summer is arriving, our dear vocalist Jorma has found that her conscience is starting to raise a commotion behind the door because of wintery slips to a diet with meat. Vegetarianism has so far gone rather well (almost two weeks now), until "surprisingly" a service station lunch buffet's half-of-a-sausage jumped into her stomach and spoiled the vegetarian's harmonous balance. From this a new proverb is born: "opportunity makes the meat-eater".
Maybe that's enough of our ponderings for now. Yesterday's gig at the Rauma ice hall went really nicely, we were the warm-up act for Peer G\U9ffffffcnt, among others. We also met the ice hockey team Rauman Lukko, who were in a happy summer mood. It was also great to see familiar faces on the backstage, it finally felt like the summer is here (and also probably there...)! The rest of the evening everyone spent however they saw fit, one in the shower, one resting, and a couple of indicans (who we won't name) in a bit more active pursuits.
We're getting near Veteli and the Kemora motor circuit... We're waiting with curiosity about how the radalle.com event will surprise us this year. Two years ago the atmosphere turned quite "interesting" after our show when the stage was taken by some naked women with candles in their backside. Let this be a warning for every woman living (and dying) in a relationship!
On monday back into studio Petrax again... we're only missing the vocals, YIKES!
