Dearest friends, fans and other ones!
We've had some trouble adjusting to this city life after the wonderful Petrax, but we'll manage. Blackness and even greyness has disappeared when we've been following Mikko's great mixing work at Finnvox, and the sun has also decided to spend a bit more time at the sky!
Yesterday we took some time off from music, when our dearest friend Tuoppi had organized a grand surprise for us and took us in the evening to a horse race event at Vermo :) Even though we had strongly decided that we'd win, the results proved different and the whole gang has to eat pea soup and noodles for the rest of the month in the aftermath of the betting fever. The evening more than made up for it and we have to do this again sometime... maybe not next wednesday though. And oh, Jonsu and Sirkku and me even got to hand out some of the prizes, yeah!
During the evening we also went to have a look at how the nigtly Helsinki looks... And in the morning early into the studio to work with the mixing of the Askeleet-song.
The people who took part in the Vermo-going, gambling and money-losing: Tuoppi, Genius-Tero, Petteri, Mikko, Sari, Sirkku, Jonsu and me.
Today the whole gang took off to midsummer holidays and we'll have two or three days away from the Fourth. Or well of course we have a gig tomorrow at Hangon Juhannus, but what better way to spend a day off! From there all the Indians will head to relax, swim and enjoy the sauna at Herkku's cottage...
Have a happy midsummer everyone!
Love,
Heini
